We practice modern Buddhism which is presented in a way that is easy to understand and practice. There is an emphasis on learning the various techniques for training the mind and applying them in daily life. These techniques will help us let go of anger, anxiety and other painful states of mind and replace them with peaceful, positive minds.
Our Community Class
Every class includes a chance for you to practice meditation. No prior experience, special equipment or special clothes are necessary – just come as you are. All meditation is done sitting on chairs and all the meditations are guided. Learn more about meditation.
Topics from Buddha’s teachings and other religions. these practical talks help us to deal with our daily problems and find peace, happiness and, if we wish, a deeper purpose in our busy lives.
Discussion and Tea
A chance to discuss the topic of the teachings and the meditation with others, and to ask questions. There is no expectation to talk if you don’t want to! It is all volunteer participation.
